Xray Machine for Animals in the Northern Division of Fiji
This is a fundraiser to buy critical medical equipment, a digital xray machine for our Animals Fiji Savusavu Clinic.
Untold numbers of animals could receive life-saving treatment if we only had this critical piece of medical equipment.

We have been working on fundraising for an X-ray machine for over two years now and as of March 2022 have raised approximately 44% of the total cost to purchase, ship, and pay VAT for it. Help us finally make this dream a reality and save more lives! |

In 2018, Animals Fiji was donated a digital x-ray machine for our Nadi Clinic & Shelter in Nasoso, Viti Levu. Since acquiring the donation, countless lives have been saved and the x-ray machine proves to be a valuable diagnostic tool every day. It has made diagnosing quicker, more efficient and therefore, less stressful or lengthy for the animals. We use X-rays to diagnose: broken bones, hernias, heart disease, bones stuck in the throat or esophagus, hip dysplasia, spinal disorders, tumours, dental issues, and more. We want the same for the animals in the more remote Northern Division of Fiji— Our Savusavu clinic is in desperate need of one. The x-ray machine we are fundraising for will be the first animal x-ray machine in the entire Northern Division of Fiji.
